What changed

Ireland and New Zealand joined Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. In Ireland, the directory now lists emergency services (999 or 112), Childline run by the ISPCC, the Irish Internet Hotline and Samaritans. In New Zealand, it lists emergency services (111), Youthline and Netsafe.

How we count

A service counts once it has been opened on its official website by a member of our team, described only as it describes itself, and given a check date. Entries not re-checked within 12 months disappear from the site automatically. A listing is a route to help; it is not a measure of children helped, and we do not present it as one.

What is next

We will add countries as fast as we can check them properly, starting with those where we can work with people who know the local services. To help with a country, contact us.
