Get Help Report a Concern

Our work

KIFOV works to prevent harm to children and to help those it reaches: by making trusted help easy to find, by studying how children are put at risk, and by pressing those who can reduce that risk to do so.

  • Child protection and safeguarding

Everything we do starts from the interests of the child. We do not publish anything that could identify a child who has been harmed, and our work with sensitive material follows a written safeguarding policy.

  • Support and referral

We help people reach the right service quickly: emergency numbers, child helplines, specialist hotlines and regulators, checked by us and dated.

  • Digital safety

Most of the risks we study begin or grow online: grooming, sexual extortion, abusive imagery, bullying, harmful recommendations. We explain them plainly and say what helps.

  • Research and prevention

We review the evidence on harm to children and publish practical, sourced guidance for families and professionals.

  • Investigations

Over time we will publish our own investigations into systemic risks, using lawful methods and giving those we examine a chance to respond. We do not pose as children or run undercover operations.

  • Platform accountability and cooperation

We compare the protections that platforms offer children with what they promise, and share what we find with the companies, specialist organisations and the public.

What is running, and what is planned

Each programme shows its real status. “Planned” means we intend to do it and have not started; we do not describe plans as achievements.

KIFOV for Families

Clear, practical guidance for parents and carers on keeping children safe online and off, based on what specialist services advise.

What we do not do

  • We do not run a helpline, a hotline or an emergency service.
  • We do not receive or store images, videos or reports of abuse.
  • We do not investigate individual cases, identify suspects or publish accusations against private people.
  • We do not have official powers in any country, and we do not claim partnerships that do not exist.

These limits protect children and the people who contact us. Some of them will change as KIFOV builds a trained team and the legal basis to do more; when they do, this page will say so first.
