Sexual images or videos of a child online

Report the web address to a specialist hotline. Trained analysts assess it and work with platforms and police to have it removed.

If a child is in danger now, call your local emergency number.
Choose a country below to see the number we have checked for it. There is no single number that works everywhere.

What to do

  1. Do not download, screenshot, save or forward the material. Sharing it harms the child shown and is a crime in most countries, even when the intent is to report.
  2. Copy the web address (URL) of the page where you saw it.
  3. Paste the address into the reporting form of your national hotline. You usually do not need to give your name.
  4. Close the page. If what you saw has upset you, talking to someone helps; support services are listed on our Get Help page.

Important

Never send images, videos or links of this kind to KIFOV, by email or any other way. We cannot receive them, and sending them could be an offence.

Report child sexual abuse material to your national hotline

Explains how to report sexual images or videos of children found online, and links to the hotline for your country. You report the web address, not the files, and you do not need to give your name. INHOPE’s secretariat is not itself a hotline and cannot receive reports.
